Starfleet Games
Starfleet games has ships in two scales 1/3788 compatible with Starline 2400 and 1/3123 compatible with Starline 2500 originally co-produced with Mongoose games for A Call to Arms.
They have ships in pewter but have just moved to Shapeways store as the primary source of all miniatures. There you can choose the material at varying costs, ultra frosted detail being the best quaility, though this has changed as new materials have come in and the most expensive. Buy the metal ships while you still can. Resin ships are about $30 plus international shipping and it’s eye watering. Unless you need to stick to SFB models look to print at home solutions if building a large fleet.
Note Shapeways are currently bankrupt so pweter is the only option.
The advantage of the Shapeways resin ships is weight and no more fiddly assembly. Cost wise resin in the ridiculously expensive compared to metal. But Shapeways have better international shipping terms compared to the metal miniatures direct from ADB.
The best source of models is without doubt eBay where large collections of Starline ships can be had for a reasonable amounts and the seller may be in your location and eBay international shipping is reasonable. Mint on Card MOC ships still have a premium price but badly painted assembled and painted fleets can be had for sensible prices. These then need to go to the local shipyards for repair and repaint.
